About Guiding Light Hypnotherapy

Thank you for choosing me to be your hypnotherapist. Everyone is unique as an individual & it is my goal to ensure that the therapy suits your personal needs & that you feel empowered to overcome or resolve whatever it is in your life that you wish to achieve.

So why should you pick me to be your hypnotherapist? Well I am a properly trained, fully accredited & insured hypnotherapist. I did my training with The Hampshire School of Hypnotherapy, who meet the stringent requirements of the General Hypnotherapy Register & Standards Council. The GHR is the largest register of hypnotherapists in the UK & also requires that its registered practitioners do continuous professional development so that their skills are always kept up to date.

We are now also registered with the Complimentary Natural Healthcare Council. Set up by the Goverment to help assist in the regulation of complimentary therapies & also recognised by the NHS.

My background is in the public sector where I have worked in the Emergency Services for twenty five years. This has given me a unique insight into human nature during this time. I believe that those experiences have equipped me well to use hypnotherapy in a way that helps you best.

In my spare time I work as a voluntary paddlesport coach for an outdoor activity centre on the outskirts of Southampton. It was here that I got involved with the paddleability scheme which provided coaching & support to those with a disability who want to get out on the water in canoes or kayaks. A lot of the client base are individuals who are either on the autism spectrum or suffer with aspergers. It is here that my interest in helping those who are on the spectrum developed.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I look forward to seeing you as a client or perhaps seeing you out on the water paddling. Whatever it is you do have a fantastic day.

Very best wishes,

Pete.
